Files and folders restore panel
In the restore panel area you can browse the list of files and folders list that has been copied in the DocuBox appliance.
Each document has been archived mantaining the original informations such as type (Ms.Office, Adobe.Pdf, MP3, ecc.).
If you have made changes to any of the backupped files, the DocuBox appliance will upgrade the "version number" (ie. version 2, 3, 4, and so on), and you can restore any of these version (see sections C2 and C3 below).
The file data is the one when the file was saved the last time on the user's hard disk.
C1 How can I find a document? Below the list of documents there is a textbox space where you can type any search text, and the button needed to start searching. Specific details on the search functionality is available in the
dedicated section.
C2 How can I restore a file?By double-clicking the file, it will be downloaded and opened with its referral software (ie: .doc files will be opened by Microsoft Office Word).
To download the file in a specific location, simply right-click on the file and choose
Download from the menu: a prompt will ask to specify a folder where you want to restore the file.
C3 How can I restore a specific file version?
In the file list, a specific column shown how much version of the file has been uploaded to the system. If you choose to restore the file, don't mind wich version, the software will restore the last version.
To restore another specific version of the file simply right-click on the file and choose
Versions.... The versions list will appear and you can choose the one you want to restore: a prompt will ask to specify a folder where you want to download the file.
C4 How can I delete a backupped document?
right-click on the file and choose Delete on the appearing menu.
To be sure the software will ask a second time if you really want to delete the file.
